Welcome!

My name is Tony Corso and I am excited to be your child’s Middle School Math and Science teacher. We have a thrilling year ahead full of challenges, surprises, and fun.  I thought I would take a moment to inform you about what your child should expect and look forward to this coming year. 

In 2008, the district purchased new science curriculum.  I have a general background in all of the areas your child will be studying this year: Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth Science.  The students will be practicing and applying their knowledge through a variety of labs.

In Math, your student will continue to learn skills related to pre-algebra and algebra so that they possess the knowledge and abilities necessary to succeed in life and in high school.  Once again, this is a very challenging curriculum that will demand your child’s focus and attention.

As always, I will be available to assist your child in any way that I can.  Please encourage your child to ask questions, think outside of the box, and put forth their best work even when the concepts get more and more difficult.  At Dimensions of Learning, we are preparing your child to be a life-long learner.
