Mrs. Serpe's eBoard

                                            Greetings from Language Arts!
Hi, my name is Theresa Serpe.  I have been teaching Language Arts and Health for our Middle School for three years.   I also taught Fourth Grade here at Dimensions of Learning Academy for three years.  Before this,  I worked as a substitute teacher for Kenosha Unified, while raising my three daughters, Jamie, Katelyn, and Laena.  I am grateful to my husband,  Jay, for supporting my dedication to teaching and to my students.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UW-Parkside and my Master’s degree in teaching from National Louis University.  My degree has an emphasis on integrating technology in the classroom.   I love combining Language Arts with other artistic and technological media.
Teaching at Dimensions affords me  the opportunity to establish relationships with my students over a three year period.  We journey together as they start out as young, eager sixth graders  and grow not only in knowledge, but in SIZE!  It is bittersweet to watch as they graduate eighth grade and move on to high school.
I believe in a team approach to a student’s education: Student, Parents and Teachers.  Parents are a student’s most important educator.  I look forward to joining with parents to ensure a student’s full success.

Sixth Graders performed a special patriotic program singing The Presidential Rap.
